This is such a unique primitive piece. Like many primitive pieces they were constructed to fit a need. We think maybe the bin once held wood for a stove. We are not sure what the bin was originally used for but we think it would be amazing to hold blankets, flowers, toys you name it. The top two doors open to reveal plenty of storage. Although from a distance it appears black, it is actually shades of deep green. We simply cleaned it up and left it original. The inside is painted in a white.
